To complete the circuit/parikrama of pavagadh in first step it started with the Goddess Vagesvari .

There are four number of goddess in pavagadh, to complete the circuit/parikrama of pavagadh, in its initial step it started from Goddess Vagesvari . Even we can see the flag of main temple from the temple of goddess Vagesvari . All rituals of temples are only done after the aarti of goddess Vagesvari .

Years ago when there was ruling of king’s, king personally goes for worshiping goddess Vagesvari  and does aarti and then only people start there Jatra, and this Jatra were stated with the musical band on the rides of elephants & horses, even people says the in this jatra’s monks were also joining to worship goddess and it started form here.
